Podcasts and interview series for founders, advisors and firms with something real to say. I plan it, record it, edit it and score it. You show up, you talk, you get a show.
15 minutes on the phone or Zoom. You tell me what you want to say; I tell you what I'd do first.
Who it's for
Founders, advisors, wealth managers, lawyers, consultants. Twenty years of judgment in a real field, and no place where the right people meet you before they need you.
A show is that place. When a prospect says "I saw your podcast," the first call is already warm.
Hit record, hit publish, build an audience.
Nobody tells you how to speak clearly when the mic is live. How to interview without rambling. How to stay on message, stay consistent, stay human. Or how frustrating it is to listen back to yourself, unsure if it's working.
You've got a business to run. And time, that rarest of resources, slips through the cracks.
The season
Six months, two episodes a month. You own the show name, the feed, the catalog and the social handles from day one.
You'll never stare at a blank Google Doc. I outline the season with you, shape the segments and prep every guest.
I recommend what works and nothing more, for a home office, a boardroom or a quiet corner that needs better sound.
I book the sessions, run the room and keep the tech out of your way. Audio only, or cameras rolling for YouTube.
Clean, polished episodes you'll be glad to send around.
A theme and a sonic signature written for your show, by the same person who mixes it.
Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and the rest, with cover art, show notes and titles people can find.
Because,
the universe
is made of stories,
not atoms.
Muriel Rukeyser, American poet
Who I am
I've spent 25 years in production: film, music, brand campaigns, documentary. I compose and engineer too, so the theme, the mix and the edit come from the same person. No translation between departments.
I started Podcast On The Fly in 2020 for people who don't want to become audio engineers or content strategists. I take your voice seriously, and I help you sharpen it.
On the air
Jim Lombardo talks with business leaders, entrepreneurs and creative people who took unexpected paths. 15 episodes and counting. I produce it, and the theme is my band's.
Listen
Two video podcasts for Comexposium: IFL Insights, streamed live on LinkedIn for Interfilière, and Curve Conversations, recorded live on the show floor at the Javits. I produced every episode and wrote the intro and outro music. On the show floor I also directed, filmed and recorded the sound.
Watch an episode
Thousands of book summaries, recorded and produced, read by a roster of voice actors I recruited and coached.
Listen
The host recorded The Watson Weekly, and I assembled and produced the episodes. For The Watson Weekend, I recorded and produced several of the live shows online.
ListenEvery show goes out on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and wherever else your listeners are.
Rather run it yourself?
Some people want to host, record and post on their own. Good. I'll set up your gear, your room, your software and your workflow, then get out of your way. Four packages, from 2 hours of consulting to 12.
The world wants to hear your perspective. Let's figure out what the show is.
